Alaniver Mailhost is an email hosting service: mailboxes and aliases on domains you own, run on a mail server we operate ourselves, hosted in the EU. The subscription includes every feature of the service; the plan size sets only how much storage your mailboxes may use in total.
Prices are €1 per gigabyte per month, minimum 10 GB and maximum 30 GB, VAT included. Paying yearly gives a 25 % discount. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Changing your plan mid-period is prorated by Stripe.
You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. The subscription runs to the end of the paid period, after which mailboxes stop receiving mail. We keep your data for 30 days after that so you can export it, and delete it permanently afterwards. We do not refund unused parts of a paid period.
You must own or be authorised to use the domains you add — this is why we require a DNS proof of ownership. You are responsible for the content sent from your mailboxes, for keeping passwords safe, and for complying with Finnish and EU law. Sending spam, phishing or malware is grounds for immediate suspension.
We aim for continuous availability but do not promise a specific uptime percentage. We take daily backups and keep the platform patched. We do not read your mail, sell your data, or use it for advertising. Spam filtering happens on the server and nothing about your messages leaves it.
We may suspend an account for unpaid invoices, abuse, or activity that endangers the service or other customers. Where circumstances allow, we notify you first and give a chance to fix the issue.
Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service during the preceding three months. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost business or lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Finnish law.
We may change these terms and prices. Existing subscriptions keep their price until the next renewal, and we tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects you. Material changes give you the right to cancel without penalty.
Finnish law applies. Disputes are handled in the district court of the service provider's domicile, unless mandatory consumer legislation says otherwise.
